Not really stolen, I guess, since I wrote the content...

Old content taken from elsewhere...

I had the two brackets that came off yesterday re-bonded this morning. A few hours after bonding, I heard this loud popping noise coming from my mouth. "Oh noes!" thought I, "Not another bracket!" It was not, in fact, a bracket but the sound of my tooth moving. I swear either my canine or the incisor moved 1-2mm without any aid or warning. I can't really tell which went where.

Check it.

That gap between the canine and the errant incisor was not there this morning. Thankfully, it wasn't painful, although the area is a touch sore right now.

In other news, coming along nicely:

This was taken this evening as well. I'm kind of curious to see where the gum is going to go. I've accepted my fate that I will need a tissue graft on the front there, but I'm not sure if it's better to do it before the root is repositioned or after. If the orthodontist brings it up again, perhaps I'll schedule a consultation with my periodontist to see what he thinks.

Next up:
December 16th: My first cleaning with braces!
January 13th: I join the "AW TADA" club with the acquisition of a few temporary anchorage devices somewhere around my upper canines, probably in the front. It will make for maximum ability to show them off.
